    Key West Blanked by Braine: Steven Braine was dynamite today and just blew Key West away in the 3-0 victory. The Whitby Battalion starter had everything working as he hurled a 2-hit shutout over the Pelicans, recording 11 strikeouts and no walks.

    "He was pure nasty out there today. I don't think any team in the league would've had a chance against what he was bringing," said the Key West skipper during his postgame press conference.

    Checking out his stats for the season, Braine has registered 6 wins and 5 losses in 16 starts, 4.68 ERA and struck out 85 batters in 105.2 innings.
