    The Titans and Spartans have been engaged in a little wheeling and dealing. They have just concluded a trade with 31-year-old starting pitcher Farid Chijavadze and a 3rd round draft pick going to Mississauga in exchange for 30-year-old second baseman Robbie Dean.

    In his career stats, Chijavadze has won 75 and lost 77, collecting 887 strikeouts and 450 walks in 1292.1 innings with a 4.32 ERA. Opponents have hit .255 against him.

    Dean has registered a career batting average of .256 with 504 hits, 29 homers and 203 RBIs.
