As part of the deal, the Barons swapped 21-year-old minor league first baseman [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] and 23-year-old minor league closer [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] to the Spartans getting 25-year-old center fielder [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] in return. The players indicated it was good to get a fresh new start in another city, but it was difficult to leave your friends on the old team.
