Midseason 2021

Post by Det42 on May 17th 2013, 11:41 pm

During the offseason, many sports writers considered the Mustangs weak for 2021. They'd lost a number of key players to free agency while each of the other teams in their division improved. Then, in the last week of spring training, when 2020 Wild West Silver Slugger winner Jerry Krause was lost for half the season with a partially torn labrum, most wrote them off.
The first half of the 2021 season seems to have proven them wrong, with the Mustangs taking a first place record of 57-36 into the second half. With Krause now recovered enough to head to Windsor for a rehab stint, just what does that mean for their chances for a playoff run?
