Hernández's 20-Game Hit Streak Ends

Sadly it just wasn't to be -- Hernández did not get a hit -- and his streak was finally over. The Thunder had stopped him, not allowing him a hit in 2 at-bats. "Winning the game took some of the disappointment out of it," [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] told reporters in the clubhouse. "Looking back on it, it was a great experience. Not too many players can say they had a hit in 20 straight games. It's something I will always remember."
