Voted yes too but agree with most that a 6 to 10 pick wouldn't be a deal breaker in any trades I was making.

Agreed.  I don't see it having any impact at all . . except that offering a 6-10th round pick will become the new "low-ball" initial offer.    Rolling Eyes

I see a few of your younger MLB guys that I could offer you possibly an 8th round pick for there Kip.  PM me for further discussion.

No PM necessary.  Here's my response:   asshat  fu2  base1

I agree about the value but I'd rather get any pick then no trade at all.  Its just another option.

I voted yes as well...but, there is very little available by the 3rd round, so...Anybody want to give up something decent for my 6th-10th round picks???   bounce

Allow trading of rounds 6-10?

Post by Rich on June 4th 2014, 11:30 am

Should we change from 1-5 to 1-10 picks?  I think this also might help increase trades.  We draft 10 rounds so you would be able to pick your player.  These rounds could be used to get players that you need but aren't willing to give up a 5th pick for.  Like ML players to just fill up your rosters or a 25th man.
